Formula X-RayPrivacy Policy
In short: these websites don't use cookies or trackers and don't collect personal data unless you email us. Our internal publishing app uses YouTube API Services only to manage our own two YouTube channels, and it doesn't collect data about viewers.
Who we are
This policy covers:
- the YouTube channels Formula X-Ray and Goodnight, Kittiwake Cove
- the websites formulaxray.com and kittiwakecove.com
- Faceless Channels Pipeline, the private app we use to publish videos to those channels
All of them are run by one independent creator. You can reach us at hello@formulaxray.com.
What we collect on our websites
Our websites don't use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or sign-up forms. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use those logs to identify you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we don't share it.
YouTube API Services
Faceless Channels Pipeline uses YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on our own channels. By watching our videos or interacting with our channels on YouTube, you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
The app is used only by the owner of our channels, signed in with their own Google account. With that permission, it:
- uploads our videos and sets their titles, descriptions, thumbnails, captions, playlists and publishing schedule
- reads analytics totals for our own channels (views, watch time and subscriber counts) to track our progress
It does not access, collect or store personal data about viewers, commenters or any other YouTube users. The analytics totals it reads are aggregate numbers for our own channels. They are kept on the owner's computer and in a private progress dashboard, refreshed regularly, and never sold or shared with third parties.
Revoking access
Anyone who has granted our app access to their Google account can revoke it at any time on the Google security settings page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is revoked, the app can no longer reach that account.
How long we keep data
- Emails are kept as long as needed to answer your message. You can ask us to delete them.
- Channel analytics totals are kept for as long as the channels exist, and are re-fetched rather than kept as stale copies.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@formulaxray.com. We'll answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.
Children
Our content is made for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we start collecting new kinds of data, for example through an email newsletter, we'll update this page and change the date at the top before we do.
